OpenAI acquires startup Orchestra Bio to beef up its biotech business

OpenAI has acquired Orchestra Bio, a four-year-old AI biotech startup, to enhance its biotech business.
Orchestra's technology will be integrated into OpenAI's Rosalind AI model and the Rosalind Workbench tool, aiding researchers in planning experiments and analyzing results. The acquisition aims to expand OpenAI's presence in the life sciences sector, with existing customers including Moderna and Novo Nordisk.
